Race Against Dementia was established by Sir Jackie Stewart OBE following his wife, Helen’s diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia. Sir Jackie was horrified to discover that there is currently no cure for dementia, a disease which devastates the lives of families.

RACE AGAINST DEMENTIA MAYO CLINIC FELLOWSHIP

The Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center at Mayo Clinic promotes research and education about healthy brain aging, mild cognitive impairment, Alzheimer’s disease, Lewy body dementia, frontotemporal dementia, and other dementia disorders.

Grants of up to £500,000 are awarded for a duration of up to five years, funding essential equipment, salaries, travel, and research assistance
