RACE AGAINST DEMENTIA FELLOWSHIPS

Funding and guidance for the most promising early career scientists

Our flagship programme. We fund and guide the most promising early career scientists – ground breakers in the search for a treatment and cure for dementia. Race Against Dementia Fellowships begin within six years of completing a PhD. Scientists are chosen from universities in the UK, Australia and the US. Race Against Dementia Fellows receive up to five years of support.

We partner with the dementia research charities to launch open calls for applicants. Scientific expert panels select the top talent. Once chosen, Fellows join Race Against Dementia’s cohort of exceptional dementia researchers and receive training in the Formula 1- mindset to fast-track their progress. All Race Against Dementia Fellows gather for the annual Summit and additional ad-hoc training events. Race Against Dementia matches mentors, often a Formula 1, industry or commercial professional.
