Thanks to the Tobermory gift shop on the Isle of Mull in Scotland who recently raised £343.40 for Race Against Dementia from donations at their shop. We are immensely grateful for their support, which will help us fund vital research to find a cure or treatment for dementia.
Van Gemeren & Co Ltd in Chesterfield raised £60 from selling daffodils. Every contribution counts and we appreciate their efforts in helping us make a difference.
Spring is a time for new beginnings and fresh starts, and we are also excited to announce new fundraising events and partnerships coming up this season.
On 2nd April, the London Landmarks half-marathon will take place, with a runner taking part in support of Race Against Dementia. On 16th April, the Manchester marathon is happening, when Sir Jackie Stewart’s hairdresser, Ross, will be running in support of Race Against Dementia. On 23rd April, the London Marathon will be run and we have five runners fundraising for Race Against Dementia.
We are the charity partner for Randox and will attend the Randox Grand National, one of the most prestigious horse racing events in the world from 13th-15th April. We are grateful for Randox’s wonderful support.
On 7th June, Race Against Dementia will celebrate the centenary of Le Mans, which holds a special place in Sir Jackie’s heart. The Jim Clark Trust 60th anniversary two-day event will be held at Duns Castle on 24th and 25th June, supporting both Race Against Dementia and Doddie Aid.
