“My extraordinary dad, Peter Bailey, spent his life looking after others, whether that be me and my racing cars, or his wider family. He devoted the final eight years of his life to caring for his wife of 68 years, Margaret, in her battle with dementia. The generous donations at dad’s funeral will go some way, one day, to ensure that dementia becomes a thing of the past.”
