We’re looking for 99 passionate fundraisers to represent Race Against Dementia at the 2027 Double TCS London Marathon on Saturday 24 April 2027.
“My Mum was diagnosed with dementia with Lewy bodies in 2022 and this year my Dad was diagnosed with a mix of conditions including frontotemporal dementia.
As a keen runner for the last 20 years my parents had always been my biggest supporters – trekking all around the country to watch my races. They were so proud of me.
They won’t be watching but I still want to make them proud.
I know how hard a marathon is but living with dementia is harder so they will be with me every step of the way.”
