Since his wife Helen’s diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia, Sir Jackie has devoted his efforts to Race Against Dementia.
Bridget headed up the Investment Management Group at London law firm, Macfarlanes. She holds several non-executive positions and advisory roles in the private equity sector.
John is Group Chairman of John Clark Motor Group which he founded in 1976. Successful in business and successful on the track, John raced in the British Touring Car Championships.
Will is a non-executive director for McLaren Automotive and McLaren Racing, with over 25 years’ experience in motorsport. He is actively engaged in global international relations with expertise in the Middle East.
Florence is known for being an actress and producer, born and raised in Oxford.
She uses her platform and social media to raise awareness for multiple issues and in July 2023 proudly became an Ambassador for Race Against Dementia. Through supporting the charity, she will shine a light on dementia research and encourage others to get involved to beat this devastating disease, faster.
Johnny Mowlem is a four time British and one time European Le Mans Series GT champion. During his career as a professional racing driver, Johnny was ranked as one of the best sports car/ GT drivers in the world, achieving victories and podium finishes in almost all the world’s major sports car races.
He currently owns Red River Sport, a motorsport mentoring, coaching and management agency.
Johnny has known the Stewart family for decades, having been chosen during his single seater career to race for Paul Stewart Racing.
Johnny has had personal experience of the horrid effects of dementia as his mother has been suffering from vascular dementia for several years now and this has increased his motivation to help wherever possible to try and combat this terrible disease as a chosen ambassador for Race Against Dementia.
Christian works in Formula 1 as a host on two F1 Podcasts. The Fast and The Curious and F1 Explains. He’s also featured on F1TV and BBC Radio 5Live F1. Before working in sport, Christian spent 5 years as a reporter and presenter at BBC Radio 1’s Newsbeat. A motorsport fanatic, Christian has always been around fast cars and raced karts across the UK as a teenager.
In 2023 Christian’s Mum Cheryl was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, which has changed his family’s life forever. Christian has become passionate about helping Race Against Dementia in any way possible and is also a patron of the world-leading motorsport LGBT+ movement Racing Pride.

Veronica leads the charity strategy and team and builds meaningful partnerships. She loves creating impact through collaboration and is driven to equip our researchers with funds and training to accelerate a cure for dementia. Prior to Race Against Dementia, Veronica led and grew two online platforms within the charity sector.
Lydia leads Race Against Dementia’s research programmes. Before Race Against Dementia, she led Sir James Dyson’s philanthropic programme, focusing on STEM education and medical research.
As a member of the Executive Committee, Linda advises on Race Against Dementia’s day-to-day responsibilities.

Tara is Deputy Director at the Centre for Discovery Brain Sciences at the University of Edinburgh, President of the British Neuroscience Association and sits on the Advisory board of Alzheimer’s Research UK.
Richard has more than thirty-five years of experience in the financial markets, with a specific focus on Asia. He was a founding partner of a fund management firm located in both London and Hong Kong.
Lydia leads Race Against Dementia’s research programmes. Before Race Against Dementia, she led Sir James Dyson’s philanthropic programme, focusing on STEM education and medical research.
Will is the digital marketing manager at Race Against Dementia.
Previously Will was a content production manager in the sports and fashion sector and operated an independent retail and e-commerce business.
Holly is Race Against Dementia’s Community Fundraising Manager. With over a decade’s experience in the third sector including 3.5 years at a dementia research charity, Holly is passionate about supporter engagement.
Iona spent the previous 20 years managing the financial affairs of a property company.
Mollie is Race Against Dementias’ Research Officer. Mollie joined after completing a master’s degree in Clinical Neuroscience.
Jan is Race Against Dementia’s administrative manager. Previously, Jan worked for a children and young person’s charity.
Shiryn heads up fundraising and communications for Race Against Dementia. Previously Shiryn led on international event management for professional bodies. As a commissioned officer in the British Army Shiryn’s last role was as an aide to a senior General.
