Professor Scheltens is Professor of Neurology at the Alzheimer Center, Amsterdam as well as managing partner of the LSP Dementia Fund. He is devoted to finding better therapies for dementia and as such is involved in clinical and biomarker research and venture funding of development of therapies in the broadest sense. Professor Scheltens is also the current Chair of the World Dementia Council.
An expert in regenerative neurology, Professor Siddharthan Chandran bridges the gap between clinic and the lab. He is Director of the Centre for Clinical Brain Sciences, Edinburgh Neuroscience, the Euan MacDonald Centre and the Anne Rowling Regenerative Neurology Clinic in Edinburgh and is a Group Leader in the UK Dementia Research Institute (DRI).
