Sir Jackie Stewart

Founder and Chairman

Three-time Formula One World Champion, Sir Jackie continues an active role in the sport as a Global Ambassador for Heineken and a Rolex Testimonee of over 50 years. Since the diagnosis of his wife Helen with fronto-temporal dementia, Sir Jackie has founded and devoted his efforts to Race Against Dementia

Chris Bliss

Trustee

Senior Partner for an international grouping of professional firms, specialising in financial and taxation advice. Chris manages a broad based client portfolio encompassing retail, trading and investment companies, professional partnerships and not-for-profit entities.

Linda Cooper

Trustee

An erstwhile Vice President of the illustrious IMG and now running her own business, Linda Cooper has a wealth of experience in the organisation of high level international fundraising Events.

Jeremy Courtenay-Stamp

Trustee

Jeremy trained and qualified at the London law firm Macfarlanes. He became a partner in 1992 and Head of the Commercial Department in 1996. He retired from the firm in 2018 to set up the Ebury Partnership LLP. The firm advises entrepreneurs, family offices and start up businesses. He has particular experience in acting for clients for whom intellectual property (whether brand or technology based) is a key asset.

Dame Vivien Duffield

Dame Vivien is the Chair of the Clore Duffield Foundation, a UK grant-giving foundation which focuses on arts education, leadership training and supporting Jewish life.

Edsel B. Ford II

Trustee

Mr Ford is a member of the Board of Directors of Ford Motor Company. As a consultant to Ford, he is active in dealer relations, customer advocacy, motor sports, and corporate history.

Jean-Marc Huet

Trustee

Jean-Marc Huet was an executive director and chief financial officer of Unilever until 2015. He is currently a non-executive director at Heineken, SHV and Canada Goose and an investor in several companies.

David Mayhew, CBE

Trustee

Paul Stewart

Ambassador

Paul Stewart is the elder son of Sir Jackie and Lady Helen Stewart. He is a former racing driver, and founded Stewart Grand Prix with his father. He Is actively involved as the Executive Chairman of the Springfield Youth Club.

Mark Stewart

Ambassador

Mark Stewart is the son of Sir Jackie and Lady Helen Stewart and is an independent film producer at Mark Stewart Productions. Mark’s films and documentaries have won multiple awards in both cinema and television categories.

Dr Penny Moyle

Chief Executive Officer

An experienced executive manager and business psychologist, Penny has been with Race Against Dementia for the last two years as an advisor and consultant. Penny is the driving force that has helped us to establish ourselves as a source of fresh-thinking, investing in early-career researchers to catalyse a culture change in dementia research.

Linda Cooper

As a member of the Executive Committee as well as on the Board, Linda advises on the day to day responsibilities of the charity through the Executive Committee.

Our Scientific Advisors

Professor Philip Scheltens

Scientific Advisor

Prof Scheltens is professor of Neurology and Director of the Alzheimer Center Amsterdam. He is devoted to find better therapies for dementia and as such is involved in clinical and biomarker research as well as drug development in the broadest sense.

Professor Siddharthan Chandran

Scientific Advisor

An expert in regenerative neurology, Prof Siddharthan Chandran bridges the gap between clinic and the lab. He is Director of the Centre for Clinical Brain Sciences, Edinburgh Neuroscience, the Euan MacDonald Centre and the Anne Rowling Regenerative Neurology Clinic in Edinburgh, and is a Group Leader in the UK Dementia Research Institute (DRI).
