Posted on the 14th July 2021

Last week saw RAD in the news with Sir Jackie and RAD-Dyson Fellow Dr Claire Durrant discussing Race Against Dementia, the Dementia Research Meets Motorsport Innovation Accelerator, and the lack of investment both in research and the care system.

Both appeared on Good Morning Britain, interviewed by Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid live from Cranfield University. The full interview is available below.

Dr Durrant discussing some of the mitigating factors which could reduce our risks of dementia was reported on the following day in The Express. You can read more on mitigating factors here.

Sir Jackie also spoke with Three Counties Radio about Lady Stewart’s diagnosis, his motivation and goals in setting up RAD and the challenges that those caring for a loved one face.
