Optical Express Sponsors RAD Gala Dinner

Posted on the 3rd December 2019

David Moulsdale and the Optical Express team followed up their successful Race Against Dementia Kart Endurance Races with a Gala Dinner, in honour of Sir Jackie, on Thursday 24th November at 200SVS in Glasgow.

The evening was attended by Sir Jackie, Lady Helen, Mark Stewart and members of the RAD team alongside many other esteemed guests including the First Minister of Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon.

A great night was had by all with fantastic entertainment from MC Robin Galloway, auctioneer, Andy Cameron and poet, Rab Wilson.  Mark Stewart also gave a heartfelt tribute to his mother – leaving barely a dry eye in the house.

David also took the opportunity to announce that the Race Against Dementia Endurance races would become an annual event and that in 2020 with further tracks set to join to raise further funds for dementia research.

We look forward to seeing how much was raised on the night for dementia research and our thanks go to David for his ongoing support.
