Meeting with Alzheimer’s Research UK Grant Review Board

The ARUK GRB meets twice a year to consider application for the various grants that they award to fund dementia research.  Yesterday, the Race Against Dementia team were invited to observe the GRB in action, in preparation for their next meeting when they will be considering applicants for the RAD Fellowships.  During the meeting, Sir Jackie addressed the Board about the RAD vision to identify the most promising early career scientists with proposals for potentially ground-breaking research.
